Businesses urged to support charity ball for International Women’s Day

This year’s International Women’s Day campaign is a call to give and gain: to celebrate achievement, elevate voices, and invest in the future of women in business and community life. The theme is being brought to life right here in Northampton with a charity ball that blends high-impact conversation with connection and celebration.

Businesses are invited to get involved by lending their support to the event through sponsorship and tickets to the ball, being held at Mercure Northampton in Silver Street on Friday, 6 March.

Exclusive sponsorship opportunities are available, please see this PDF for information.

Corporate tables of 10 are available, offering companies an ideal opportunity to host clients, reward teams or demonstrate their commitment to equality and community engagement. A limited number of individual and pairs tickets are also available.

Organiser Joanne MacGregor said the event is designed to resonate with businesses and community groups that want their values to be visible as well as their success.

She added: “International Women’s Day is an opportunity for businesses to step back and ask how they are contributing to the future they want to see. This event is about celebrating progress, amplifying women’s voices in business, and giving back to organisations that make a real difference locally. It’s purposeful, it’s professional, and it’s a brilliant night out.”

Funds raised during the evening will support Northamptonshire Rape Crisis, which will be marking its 40th anniversary in 2026. The organisation provides essential support services for women and girls across the county.
