The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation Secures Permanent Home at Castle Hill URC

The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation (TMDF) will relocate to Castle Hill United Reformed Church in Spring Boroughs in March 2026, marking a significant milestone in the charity’s development.

Founded in 2020, TMDF has expanded its services from an emergency food bank to a wide-ranging support organisation, assisting more than 90 schools and multiple local organisations, and providing social clubs, home visits, and life-skills programmes across Northamptonshire.

The move addresses the charity’s need for a permanent base, as its current facilities are no longer sufficient to accommodate its growing operations.   Castle Hill URC, a Grade II listed building with historical importance dating back to the 1600s, provides offices, function rooms, a commercial kitchen, and flexible community spaces.

TMDF intends to establish a Community Hub at the site, offering outreach services, drop-in sessions, and collaborative programmes with other local organisations.   The charity emphasises its commitment to preserving the building’s heritage while strengthening its capacity to support individuals and families facing hardship, isolation, or disadvantage.

Founder Teresa McCarthy-Dixon said the relocation represents “a long-awaited step forward” and praised the dedication of the charity’s volunteers, trustees, and staff, whose commitment underpins TMDF’s ongoing growth and impact.
