Empowering SME Leaders to Fuel Growth and Resilience Across the South East Midlands

Applications now open for government-backed Help to Grow: Management course starting this September

Senior leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the South East Midlands are being offered an exceptional opportunity to drive business growth and resilience through the Help to Grow: Management course, delivered by the University of Bedfordshire and backed by the UK Government.

Launching on 30th September 2025, the 12-week programme is designed to equip SME leaders with the skills, strategies, and confidence to scale their businesses effectively. Developed with input from experienced business professionals and industry experts, the course blends structured online learning, in-person sessions, and one-to-one mentoring tailored to real-world business challenges.

With 90% of the course costs funded by the Government, participants pay just £750 — and for a limited time, eligible applicants can secure an Early Bird bursary, reducing the cost to £100 + VAT.

Flexible and practical, the programme covers core topics such as innovation and business growth, financial planning, digital adoption, leadership development, and sustainable business practices. Participants will also benefit from a powerful peer-to-peer network, fostering collaboration and fresh insights from fellow SME leaders.

Graduates will emerge with a personalised growth plan and the tools to implement meaningful, measurable change within their organisations.
