Face to Face Interviews
Face to face interviews are appropriate where an in depth discussion is required to explore complex issues, policy developments or processes. They can also be used to ‘test out’ ideas and concepts and explore scenarios. They can be particularly useful for exploring sensitive or highly political issues where the participant may be more willing to share information with an independent third party rather than with the organisation commissioning the research.
