Use of the Chamber logo
Every member is able to use the ‘Member of Northamptonshire Chamber’ logo on its stationery, marketing materials, website and company vehicles. This gives their business an air of credibility and demonstrates links with local agencies, organisations and fellow businesses.
Networking opportunities
People do business with people and membership offers you a raft of networking opportunities where you can make new contacts and maximise the profile of your business.
There are networking breakfasts and lunches held at various locations across Northamptonshire, all devised to make it simple for you to meet other business people. Members are invited to sponsor events for maximum impact.
Media opportunities
The Chamber has developed strong links with the local and national press and is regularly asked to put forward companies to quote on topical issues on television, radio and in print publications. In the last year we have put forward members for appearances on BBC Breakfast News, Sky News, Anglia News, BBC Radio Five Live, The Sunday Times, BBC News at Ten and much more.
In Business
In Business magazine goes out to 5,000 subscribers. Members are encouraged to submit editorial and press releases about their company which, if newsworthy, will be published free of charge. Business Directories
Members are also listed in county and regional Chamber business directories, both online and in hard copy, to increase exposure.
Chamber website
The Chamber website attracts thousands of visitors each month and contains a Members Directory. Within this, each member has a page on which they can list their company details, a link to their own website, Top 10 Tips, news stories and a Member2Member offer. The website is currently being redeveloped with a launch scheduled for April 2010. It is hoped that the new site will offer even more value for members and advertising opportunities.
eBulletin
Each month, the Chamber sends out a ‘News and Offers’ eBulletin to just under 7,000 recipients. This includes three news stories, highlights a Chamber Product of the Month and carries a selection of the Member2Member Offers that are currently on the Chamber website. Members and non members can advertise on the eBulletin and members receive a 50% discount.
