Local MP Peter Bone visits Home Instead East Northants

Local MP, Peter Bone recently took time out to visit the office of Home Instead Senior Care to find out about the home care services they provide.

The company, based in East Northants provides non-medical care and companionship for older people, helping them to continue living in their homes across the whole of East Northamptonshire.

Mark Darnell, owner of Home Instead explained: “We were so pleased to welcome Peter to our new office. He was really interested to find out about our services and how they are so different, such as only doing calls which are a minimum of one hour and matching our clients to their CAREGivers.

"Peter and I were also able to discuss the challenges the social care sector is facing, it’s gratifying to feel that we have our local MP’s support for the service we provide to the local elderly community.”

"‘I am really proud of what we do here at Home Instead. We make time to care and to build long and trusting relationships with everyone in our community, something I am very passionate about!”

Home Instead Senior Care services are tailored to the needs of each client. It can include services such as companionship, day-to-day housework, shopping, meal preparation, assistance with dressing, bathing, eating and medications and household duties. Visits vary from 1 hour to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
